Well, had an interesting day or so, I have been building a new computer now for quite a few months (buying what I could here and there). Well the computer was pretty much complete, just a few more items to go when all of the sudden yesterday my old computer, which had been holding on by a wing and a prayer, decided to melt down for the final time yesterday
Soooo... I had to make do with my not quite yet completed 'Super Computer' Darth He is now up and operating, and I am starting the laborious job of re-loading everything
I managed to save MOST of my work, because over the past few weeks I have been methodically backing up my work to one of my secondary drives. Well - the Sten Machine gun, in being so new and still a WIP did NOT suffer such a fate It's gone so I am going to have to rebuild it
Well anyway, I now have Windows 7 64-bit *drools on keys* and I LOVE IT! OMG! This computer is so fast right now that I get wind burn just from sitting at the keyboard!
Amen to that lol - yeah commercially bought computers have way too much junk loaded onto them in order for that computer company to "seem attractive" and "offer more" when in all actuality the computers from different manufacturers are basically the same with slight hardware differences between them.
