Tundra

Imagine if you will a chilling silence, coupled with the biting, unbroken arctic wind at your back... your breath feels like icy knives deep within your chest. You shuffle your feet slightly wishing for warmth and shelter only to hear the scream of the frozen soil as it crunches underneath your feet.

Welcome to my Tundra, thawing slightly yet never to fully thaw, just ready for the miraculous burst of life that will spring forth for a very short time
