Ummm yes, and no there is no connection between the two. Repo:TGO was created in 1999 initially as parody songs sung up until 2001 when the play was created. Repo Men was based initially off a short story called The Telltale Pancreas written in 1997 by Eric Garcia (one of the the movie's main writers). Fully two years before Zdunich was penning TGO, the first public performance of TGO was not until October of 2001.
